Labrador:"Have we seen the last of AOL runs?". A historical analysis:
Take a look at the past 1 year of AOL pricing:

tradepbs.com

It is possible we'll see a mirror image of that:

-A slow first month ( 4% intraday fluctuation $85 – $90 ).
-then a rapid 10% by 2/2/98 to $100.
-by 2/12 --> $117
-3/16 --> $130 --> split 2:1

If we were to follow the same scenario now then prices would be as follows from the $156 close of 12/31/98:

1/4/99 – 2/2/99 : 156 +/-- 4% fluctuation = $ 144 – $168 trading range

2/2/99 : 156+10%============ $ 171.6

2/12 :156+ 30%============$ 192

3/16 :156 +45%============$ 235

Of course if we take the steeper profit acceleration for 99 in ecommerce these numbers may be bumped up a little, to….171.6 --- 180 ?

So that by Jan 31st 1999 the people closest to these numbers are:

* * * AOL 99: KING OR PAUPER? POLL update; 1/31/99 180; 1/1/00 339 * * *
