Techie, this was an excellent posting. You are absolutely right about this. I bought 200 shares at 15 3/4 and expect to make a big near-term killing. I live 12 or so miles from PSINet's headquarters and have been aware of this company because it is talked about as one of the local companies that is exciting in the region. I tell you, it just pisses me off to no end how some people post totally wrong info on this web site. I almost sold my 200 shares as the downturn occurred today because some idiot woman posted that PSINet nothing like UUNET and had no business accounts of any significance. JUST READ THE PSINet PRESS RELEASE FROM THE COMPANY DATED APRIL 23, 1996. I have seen equally stupid incorrect information posted about AMTX, Amati. People, shut up if you don't know what you are talking about based on factual sources. Quote the source! Christ!!!
