>>TT you makin' up for those losses???? BIG!!!!!!!!

OJ, here's where I am:

Still flat the futures after being stopped out the other day -- but yesterday when I got a continuation signal I bought OEX calls and sold the puts naked -- so that has worked out great.

Now where you played a part was in the long position that I took in CMGI yesterday at 117+. I did check with our mutual friend to make sure that you were not just waving your hands for no reason and she told me to go for it--so I owe her some baklava. CMGI did get a buy signal yesterday on the very same system that I use to trade the futures. AOL will get a buy signal on the system if it takes out the 157 level today. If I get a buy signal on AOL, I'll bail out of CMGI and get into AOL. Now you should know that the system is not as good with stocks as it is with futures but with the internuts trading like the futures -- what the heck. In any event, I'll be out of CMGI before the day is out. I guess I am still not comfortable owning the nets for any length of time--and 2 days is a length of time when it comes to the internuts:)

Am still short the bonds and went short the yen this am -- closing out the long position that I had in that currency, for a pretty decent profit.

Am sick about getting stopped out of my position in the spoo -- the buy signal was a good one--but such is life.

I see that you've become a systems trader -- and are exhorting all to follow their signals. Great advice because it's the easiest way to making money. I was telling someone in a pm that it is rare to find a good intuitive trader -- Patrick is one of the few who is able to do that successfully. The acid test for a systems trader is to continue to take signals when one has losing trades -- after all anyone can follow a system when the signals make money.

Anyway, great call on the market and I am glad that you are making a lot of money. I may go long the spoo if it pulls back some -- for a day trade.

In short, I have made some head-way in making up for the other day -- but still have not made it all up -- but the year is young and the markets are still around!:)
