gmorning selfop...i spent the day in the ocean yesterday, and have not seen national news since friday...am not aware of an earthquake...i really hope you are not saying there has been one there recently...
as for panam and insider trading...i wish there was an insider trading office in frisco, n.c., (population, 250)...if so, i would give my charterboat away to the first person asking for it, and i would guarantee you an attendance of at least 1, every trading day...the term, wave of the future, pales in comparison to the power within those walls...
hey, you know what, thats a good idea...maybe ill call carl...
i have spent my entire adult life working with crews of men, and the general public...there is nothing a man can do or think of that i have not observed...therefore i think i can say that i pretty well understand what happens on this board on a daily basis...lets see if i can get my thoughts out before they leave me...this could get interesting, even for me...hooboy...
you see, there are three kinds of people...always only three...first, you have the people who are "somebody"...somebody important, or who hold some position of genuine superiority...either by appointed or assumed position of leadership, or knowledge, or maybe by simply being believable and personable...these are the kinds of people that accomplish something for other people...these people know who they are, and so too, do the people around them...per capita, these people are few and far between, and deserve their lofty position...they give direction to the rest of the people, and have vision toward the good of all...the rest of us genuinely admire these people...look up to them...listen to what they have to tell us...
then there is the greatest majority of us who are just regular ordinary old fuds...normal folks, living our little insignificant lives and making a living and taking care of our families and doing what we can with what we have, or what we can scrape together...we scurry about in our daily routines, completely satisfied to be what we are, and what we will always be...plain old people...good people...salt of the earth people...people who work together and make something in the spirit of cooperation...we group 2's are totally aware of our little slot in life, and happy to be a part of not much...we are emotionally secure in what we know we really are...citizens...
now comes the fun part...the third group...these are the ordinary people who are unsatisfied with what they are...think they are somebody special...demand attention all the time...pretend like they are "somebody", but will never be...talking important because it makes them feel important while the world around them turns its head and snickers at their folly...they dont give anything...dont help with anything...are self centered, and are the only ones who cannot see their rightful place among the rest of us...live by three principles...noise, doubt, fear...and this is the really funny part, because what it is they fear the most is what they make the most noise about and what they cast the most doubt over...it is usually fun to watch people in this group make fools of themselves...because they are so good at it...and they all know it...thats why they spend all of their time covering themselves up...trying to appear to be somebody they know they can never be...a paradox of disappointment and cheraide...(the spelling of that last word is probably incorrect, but thats ok, im group two...what do you expect)...
anyway...group 1's...barb sperino, jdcpa, isoman, etc....and group 2's, the rest of us (with a couple of exceptions), agree with you...the glass is indeed half full...
