Pi--Yeah, Yahoo was getting so bad I was actually getting a minor case of carpal tunnel syndrome from moving and clicking my mouse as I waded through the posts looking for 1 in 50 worth reading. I was relieved to read your post that some folks at CDNW are receiving severance packages, as that indicates that the merger is going through (I'm long NTKI, not CDNW, and I believe that the price of N2K stock would fall through the floor if the merger doesn't go through, although such an outcome wouldn't be good for CDNow, either). There probably will be a one-time merger cost, you're right. Call me crazy, but I believe that the stock has much more upside potential than just 20% if the merger is consummated. The combined company won't approach Amazon-levels, obviously, but it will be a real force to be reckoned with, just the same. I believe that the next quarter results will show a significant increase in revenues (certainly true for other internet e-tailers, anyway), and unless the internet "bubble" (if that's what it is) bursts, then I believe the combined company may really take off.
