Hi RFH, No AMZN in my portfolio. It just happens to show up as the Best Performer in Value Line almost every week and now has the outrageous 13 week gain shown at 343%. Even that # isn't up to date!

Well, some steam has been let off. A friend shorted the stock a couple of weeks ago at $137 and then sweated it out while the stock continued to rise to $199. His broker talked him out of shorting 500 shares (enough to run a "through the looking glass" AIM acct.) and talked him into only shorting 200 shares.

He covered half his position at $112 two days ago and now still has 100 shares short. He says he's going to let these shares ride it our for a while. I think he told me that this is the FIRST TIME he's ever actually made any money on the short side after several attempts.

He took his broker's advice and didn't do as well as he might have, but wouldn't try inverted AIM with it. I think the Short Side of the market might benefit from AIM use too, but I don't have a good feel for such things.

Best regards, Tom
