When I used the term DSVD I was referring to the existing "net phone" programs.
I can't seem to find that standard either so it's going to take more research.

If you recall Les Staples is the representative from the U.S to the ITU committee
and on occasion he still works for Data Race on a consulting basis.

All I know is they've developed something that is far better in voice quality than what's currently available and it's their right not to say anything more than they want to.
