Are you saying Lucent's solution can provide 2 quality lines over 1 line, but in some cases the lines may only give you 28k.
Yes, RACE's solution is way better.

Who needs the option of having 2 lines capable of voice and/or data (each capable of at least 28kbps) when RACE can provide 1 line capable of voice and/or data. But BeWhere, with RACE's solution you may be limited to 24kbps for both voice and data.

Who needs 2 lines with regular numbers, when you can dial into RACE's BeThere server thru a PBX, and then dial the extension to get a call put through to the user. One hell of a call setup time eh?

Who needs the option of using their two lines for voice or data, when RACE's solution limits you to 1 voice and 1 data at all times

Lucent's solution doesn't require the user to have a client PC running at all times, but that's no problem if you want to implement RACE's solution you can buy or lease one.

Well we know they won't sell much to ISP because they don't support VoIP. Now we know why Telcos won't buy their stuff. At best, it's a telecommuter product that may be implemented by a few businesses if no other options are available.

two lines for voice anyone can go out and buy a PC,/b>
Lucents stuck doesn't requires a PC to demultiplex the lines.Who doesn't have a PCYes and anybody who needs two lines and doesn't have a PC should go out and buy one now
But BeWhere, Ben says you may only get 24kb from your RACE device, and you must have a PC up and running at the client end to demultiplex the data.

over Still is a way better solution than RACES 24kbs for voice and data over 1 line.
For one you don't need a PC at the user end. Not sure on the specifics of Lucents stuff but you can probably run 2 voice, or 2 data, or 1 voice and 1 data.
