This is very funny. I just finished reading the SIEB thread (all of it). It turns out that the mania in SIEB is fueled by <the drum rolling> the mania in trading! Yes you heard it right. Since there are so many people obsessed with the stock market and lack a life beyond it, the logical thing to do is to give them a device that they can plug into the market without a PC. Sieburt has just announced such a device and thus the mania in SIEB is justified. Or so was the conclusion of the thread.

As some of you may know, rather than going to Vegas like I was planing with my friend last night, I decided that it is as much fun to short SIEB. I will know soon enough if my head will be handed to me or if I live to laugh another day. What many people are missing is that the float on SIEB is only 600k. You heard it right; Only six hundred thousand shares are in the public's hands. Today's trading volume alone was 10,440,400 or more than 17 times the entire float! Gotta love those long term investors <G>.

I think what is lost to a lot of people is that at such a small float, it takes only a few satisfied customers to sell the stock heading south and then the day traders will take it from there on. At least this is what I am hoping for.

good luck to all,
Sun Tzu
