Oh wise one, who has never owned this stock (or any other?), a quote comes to mind. Sorry, but I can't remember who said it, "it is better to have loved and lost, than never to have loved at all." You could substitute the word "owned stock, taken a chance, lived, gotten in the game, been fishing, played a sport, gone out on a limb, gone skiing," you pick. And we haven't lost, as the game is far from over. But not to worry, monday morning quarterbacks still have a use, don't they?
