Indeed I occasionally do use one when it should be the other. And I can see how terribly it detracts from the meaning of my message. Though I am flattered to know that my posts that you would ridicule so contemptuously are read so closely by you. Can't see the forest for the trees inexplicably springs to mind. I suppose that you were not bothered on the other hand when PRWT characterized its housing project in Belize with such terms as government backed and guaranteed loans. I guess that the PR people at PRWT mistakenly used those terms rather than no involvement with the Government of Belize and no backing from the Government of Belize. But hey, I guess that would be too picky for a pedant such as yourself.
