I agree. All the more reason for the "Economically conservative" Republicans to get the GOP back from the "Religiously conservative" Republicans who (sadly) control the party now. Sad. Falwell is a walking (actually since he is as big as a barge I should say "waddling") joke. He puts the "DUH" in "Fun-duh-mentalism"! This warning about Tinky Winky of the Teletubbies is his funniest rant yet! Purple is a "gay" color? Hmmm. I guess Jerry was brave enough to take on Tinky Winky but was afraid Barney would bite him :-) I suspect we will hear more laughable venom spewing from Falwell's mouth as he continues to get on in his years. How old is Falwell anyway? Just a week or two ago Falwell announced his prediction that God would come back to earth as a tall dark haired Jewish man or some such. Actually I think Robin Williams' prediction about God's second coming was a little more accurate: he predicted God would come back to earth as a 7 foot tall 350 lb. African American...and the first person he was gonna deal with was ol' Jerry Falwell!
