Can anyone tell me what you think about the following observation:

In order to be successful DoubleClick must reach an effective audience. Yahoo, for example, managed 144 million page views per day in 1998, up from 50 million just a year earlier. To parallel this level of penetration, DoubleClick really has two avenues available to it; it can either make agreements with the comparatively few Web publishers that can generate suitable amounts of traffic, or it can pursue relationships with a plethora of smaller Web publishers.
