FYI, I shorted 1000 shares of UIHIA and bit the bullet and bought 10 May 95 Put contracts on AMTD (yea it's overpriced, but I can't find it to short:( My other favorite shorts are: AMZN AOL CMGI CNET CREE DCLK GNET INSS MFNX(especially) MU SCH(will short soon) and SUNW(a long term buy) On average I expect a 25%~50% in each of these stocks over the next ten weeks. So if you are holding them...beware. BTW, check out the HUGE premiums on the options on these stocks. I've never seen such numbers and it means that the option market too expects huge drops in them. good luck to all Sun Tzu P.S. Does anyone know of a brokerage who is good at finding you hard to short stocks. I'm willing to pay a premium for that.
