Well, I get to submit the first proposal because I got here first. Getting there first is of course the primary principle of GOOFS. Here goes: Winnebago (WGO). This company is the definition of an entire industry, has a P/E of 16.5, and a 4 1/2 % dividend. In March of '94, this unlovable old lug was trading at just under 14. It's now formed a double bottom at 7 1/2, before soaring to to the dizzying heights of the current 8 3/4. I ask, is this a potential momentum stock waiting to happen, a real GOOFS? Not a false GOOF, but a real one? Wanna vote on WGO? Submit your own GOOFS to public scrutiny? Or maybe help me change the rules to fit your favorite GOOFS? The padlock is broken and the cell is open. All capitalists welcome.
