Don,
I said from the start that my purchase was from AtCost....and the URL I posted was from that site also. You are quite correct though in that response to customers is a critical issue. That has been the point of my posting here from the start. My original statement (though I do not remember word for word) was that I feel they have not kept the pace up with customer service as they have grown. It was also my statement that the growth plan needs repeat business and referrals to continue to happen. If customer service falters, as I see it doing, that is going to affect the longer term growth that is expected of this company.
We discuss issues in these forums that affect our investments. They may be press releases, financials, mergers or whatever. In this instance my original intention was to point out the fact that a segment of the business was not going as planned in my estimation and if that segment (customer service) was not carrying the ball as expected, the repeat business and referrals were going to diminish and that would reflect in growth, and in financials, and in the future price of the stock. My $300 purchase is not the object here (I hate to throw money away, but I can survive without the $300), the object is the company performance in the customer service department. This purchase was made back in about mid January....it should have been settled within a week, perhaps 10 days. It is way over a month and as you can see, it is not settled yet. THAT was the purpose behind my original post, to point out the decline in service of late.
