Hi Aitch: I'm a little confused - did you see this post about my trip to the INTC thread??

Message 8069813

What started me thinking about Intel possibly warning was that, so far, the scenario is playing out pretty close to what happened last year except that Intel hasn't warned. If Dell is slowing and CPQ sales are soft is that a signal that Intel might warn? I think the street would perceive an Intel shortfall as evidence of an industry wide PC sales slowdown. As you know I own INTC so obviously I'm interested for that reason, but also, if I want to buy CPQ, I want to wait until AFTER INTC warns (if it's going to). I'm just digging for evidence, I'm not trying to spook anyone.

BTW, thank you very much for posting those analysts' reports.

***OT*** Just got back from dinner and Shakespeare in Love. It was great - verrrry romantic. Joseph Fiennes (Will) looked remarkably like Prince - right down to the eye makeup and clothes. <gggg> They took a lot of historical latitude (Romeo and Juliet segue to Twelfth Night) but it made for a great story. Fingers are fine - thanks for asking. <ggg>
