Well Henster I would agree with you, the more on the record these people become, by making public statements for all to see the better off everyone would be - perhaps but themselves. I mean financial disclosure is one thing that they surely should have done by now, but failing that the hiding behind phone calls to their trusted unofficial mouthpieces like Barbara and JDCPA, is not the right thing to do.

Not only does it place these people in the middle with no other information than what they have been told, but it also allows them to escape responsibility for their statements. Why just look at how Chief No-Little-Fish carries on over on the Raging Bull about these evidentiary distinctions. Never mind that in his Clintonesque defense of John Schmitz, he is laying bare the very foundation of what these people may be relying on to escape prosecution.

For all the shrillness that those of you who are long hate me for, it would be unnecessary if this discussion were played on a level field, with the management of this company shouldering their responsibility to keep shareholders adequately informed. Instead we have a game that is played out among the believers defending their company, without any assurances whatsoever that the insiders are repaying their loyalty by anything other than dumping beaucoup shares into the market at every turn of the PR mill.
