I noticed today that the emini has tick and contract number volume coming across on BMI so I am just plotting the SPH9 and then using the number of contracts volume from the ESH9 and it makes a really nice chart. The big complaint about the volume on the big spoos is that it is only tick volume, so the mini is letting us have a good look at the real volumes and I am finding it handy when using it for drawing patterns a la Edwards and Magee.

I tested PC Quote a couple of weeks ago and I DID get volume on the big spoos, so I know it's in there somewhere. I can't remember exactly what it was called but it was not the "volume" button. Perhaps you should call them.

Anyway, I am playing with the mini to test Lind Waldock's online direct system and it's good. I am negotiating a group discount for those on our site and that should help the bottom line. As for finding trends, we seem to be stuck in a sideways motion here over the past couple days, just chopping back and forth inside a range. We tested the upper part of the range today, and yesterday we tested the lower part, although at this moment, with 45 minutes to go, it might just crack and then the market should be directional again.
