I don't think anyone knows the percentage. Scott was more detailed in his answer as to why.

Basically, if you scan a chart you can show where they worked but not where they failed. You cannot "see" it any longer.

You may "see" one setting up now but if it were to fail then next month another person looking at the same chart probably will not pick it up that there was a pattern of a multiple bottom here. Me, if I think I see a Triple Bottom setting up I normally sell them or if I am generally Bullish then I wait on my Buy in.
