Ok guys, I'm a VERY HAPPY CAMPER!!!! I really enjoyed going to the Boca Office today and was surprised to find Charlie there.
Anyway, he was more than helpful with my questions and I'll see him tomorrow, so if anyone has any questions, just PM them to me.
He wasn't planning a Grand Opening for Boca because he didn't think that there was enough investors in this area and I said Geeeez Charlie, there is a ton of us here, come on, WE WANT A PARTY !!!!! So I'm gonna get with him on that tomorrow, we're suppose to have dinner.
There are currently 32 stations, 20 have monitors and they are waiting on the delivery of the last twelve.
The seminar at the Marriott went great, 53 people showed up and 10 people signed up for the course. They will be having another seminar in one month!!
Frank Puglesse is the trainer and he's been holding the classes this week Monday thru Thursday.
The response to the CNBC ads are good so far in Boca, he said they've only been out a couple of weeks, five times a day and it's going to take a little bit for it to catch on more, but the response in NY has been EXCELLENT!!! The commercials have been out a couple of months there. Speaking of the NY office, he said that the 32 stations are at capacity and there is a waiting list at times, so my suggestion would be for someone in the area to skidaddle over there and snap some Kodak moments for us and the website!!
There is one other type of trading company in the area, but they have been there a couple of years, they do not advertise and they are not aggressively seeking clients. Insider Trader on the otherhand as Charlie put it comes in with steamrollers. This was also confirmed by another shareholder who met me up there that lives in the area and is familiar with it.
I.T. is going to start BETA testing a dozen or so in a couple of weeks, then come full force once that's done. They do not want another E-Trade disaster!!!
They plan on opening another 10 offices in the next 12-18 months.
While I was there, I typed up a letter for Charlie he needed to have fax'd to channel 5 news on general information about the company because they want to come out and do a segment on Insider Trading either today or tomorrow. Charlie called it "NY IS BRINGING WALL STREET TO BOCA" I like that, kind of catchy, I hope they use it.
John called while I was there so I got to talk to him a bit while Charlie was busy, I told him I had to type up a letter for Charlie and he told me if it was anything about inside information, don't read it!!! hahahaha
Ohhh, and another thing, people were constantly coming in and out to check out Insider Trading. One guy was so excited about it that he left and went and got a friend and brought him back.
