Grant, Do You know anyone GOOFI enough to have a REIT in their core holdings? Let's carry it a step further and have it in a DRIP. I just mailed off a supplemental investment to Merry Land. Every couple of months, I mail 'em a check for $100 and they buy $105 worth of stock in my name. Free Money is pretty cool. Oh, and they pay a dividend of about 7%. Merry Land is one of the better established REITS, with their equity in apartments throughout the South and Southeast. I figure this is one way to invest in stocks AND real estate. Whad'ya think? Are REITS a GOOF? Regards, Paul
