Hi Patrick,
I read Wilder's book again this weekend. I covered the floor with intraday 5 min spx charts, and looked at patterns.

I actually came up with two patterns that both seem to work.
But the smooth vs jittery days was so obvious and yet seemed to have no correlation to anything.

one thing that i had forgotten, he stated that all time patterns revert to the strength of the shortest pattern. So in effect, if you really master the short term, the rest of the patterns kind of become irrelevant.

In my opinion Camp and Wilder are so similar, that they must be basing their theories on the same things.
