I'd get those two houses looking great, excellent landscaping, plant flowers etc then invite the Belize housing people out for another look at the progress. Then I'd put it to them. Do you want us to continue? Well what do you expect the Government of Belize to do? Those houses that they are building are financially out of reach for most all Belizeans. What are they going to get behind? The plans to build those reported 6000 homes are preposterous. That would be close to 3% of the housing stock for the entire country. And what do you figure with a country that has a GDP of roughly $550M, They will commit to $200M of high priced housing that 99% of the people there can't afford? No, the Government already has a deal to get aid from Cuba to build several thousand houses at considerably less expense. And that is coming as aid, not payments to stockholders in a US corp. Face it. Those early Press Releases were not well thought out. I suspect that they were mostly fabrications. Those numbers must have come from thin air, because that's all there is supporting them. Makes me wonder about the accuracy of the current press release with so much again in the future.
