You raise an interesting point Linda: anonynimity. Would that everyone was honest enough to allow their personal email addresses to be found, but like you, jhild has chosen to not post his (her?) personal email address. Thus, such discussions of ethics, integrety, and style must be addressed here so that folks who do read the thread can be aided in determining the veracity of the poster.
Bottom line is that a poster who discusses both good points and bad, admits when they mess up, and seeks to find the truth is someone who you may get good information to make your own investing decisions. On the other hand, folks who cannot seem to be able to discuss both sides of an issue, nor do any form of DD but rather will insert their own unbased suppositions and call them facts should be ignored.
Now, how does someone like yourself come on to the thread and determine the veracity of any given poster? I suggest that folks who are often called liar and fraud by lots of other folks may be generally believed to be a liar and a fraud. Likewise, folks who admit points adverse to their wishes while pointing out other events that do support their beliefs may be considered at a minimum to be open minded.
Your investment decision is yours and no one elses to make. I wish you well in making that decision. However, I will not argue in private the issue that patently incorrect suppositions have been passed as fact in public. Public is the place to refute such posts IMO. |
