Volume studies are very important factors in determining the direction of a market at certain turning points... NYSE and NASDAQ both carry real time volume data. I've never understood why there is none for the S&P. Do you know of a data stream that matches the S&P 500? Obviously, If your trading the futures it was the large futures contract and now the Mini...I quess futures volume is sufficient. Otherwise there would be a real time data stream on S&P volume. Chip
