DCLK just participated in the Paine Webber NYC internet conference this past week and the CEO was a keynote speaker. DCLK announced the 2 for 1 on 3-11 and the earnings announcement is 4-22. Pretty good timing by the senior management team ..... announce the 2 for 1 BEFORE the conference, give a great presentation / speech at the conference, the 2 for 1 split comes on 4-2, then a positive earnings report 3 weeks later. We're looking at another 2-4 weeks of strong trading and DCLK captures "mindshare" as well as market share ...... which is exactly the business they are in.
FROM Bloomberg.com: The on line advertising market will grow from 2 billion this year to 7 billion by 2002. "It is increasingly clear that the number of revenue opportunities is growing, and so are their size ( DCLK )". "Once a company has reached a point of critical mass within an increasing returns market, they are very, very hard to unseat". "We're betting DCLK has reached that threshold".

It doesn't get any better than this !
