Who won? Our team, the U. of Hawaii Rainbows, started the season solid, but after a few road trips, THUD. Oh well.

It'll be different with DoubleClick. Why? Money talks, and you know what walks. No one is going to dispute revenues in the short term and long term.

I had the foresight to buy eBay at 29 and 72. I also had more fear than confidence in eBay's profit margins -- which was less than wise of me -- and sold at 42 and 77.

And the second time around, I held eBay (pre-split) from 205 down to 165 before it came back. Boy, did it come back.
