-- Exodus Communications Inc. (EXDS US) was raised to ''strong buy'' from ''buy'' by analyst Farrokh Billimoria at Hambrecht & Quist.

CHICAGO, March 25 (Reuters) - ING Baring Furman Selz LLC said Thursday it initiated coverage of Internet system and network provider Exodus Communications with a buy rating.
-- Exodus is a leading provider of high-end Web hosting and other services to Internet-centric and customers including Yahoo! Inc., eBay Inc. and Hewlett-Packard Co., ING said in a research note.
-- Average annualized revenue per customer as of year-end 1998 was about $133,000, the highest in the sector. ING sees 1999 total revenue growth of 180 percent.
-- ING said it has a 1999 price target of $165-$185 per share.
