OT Yeah, do you believe these yahoos? When I was 5 or whatever, back in the 1950s, my father tried to impress on me that I should be a Chemical Engineer because the world was running out of Oil and we needed a substitute. Yet another failure for the auld man, his son did not save the world from the hated oil barons by inventing synthetic oil. Now I get these long haired kids telling me the world is being raped by corporations disemboweling the Oil, creating tree vasectomies, we are poisoning the rivers with the urine of our greed..... I tell these kids "Been there done that got the tee-shirt" Some dude one step higher than Dogpatch got them to believe that anyone older than 22 is a moron who does not realize that the Earth has limited resources. You know, I almost stole a Groucho line with this kid, I think it came from "A Night at the Opera". It went something like this.... "Why should I care about my progeny, what have they ever done for me?" I wish I had enough money to waltz around telling people the environment was an issue instead of getting a job when I was that age.
