Does anybody remember this?? I feel like a relic.

Unfortunately, I do. I can also remember the TV possessed by the 'Prince of Darkness' during a particularly good show. I can still remember the vacuum tube needing replacement the most, it was a 6SN7GTB, and cost $3.40, (No tax in those days), a small fortune to us. BTW, this tube was also used by the hundreds in early computers.

I miss 'Life of Reilly', 'Honeymooners', 'Sea Hunt', and many others, but I don't miss 'Howdy Doody' or 'Lambchops'. I'd rather watch '3 Stooges' or 'Our Miss Brooks' anytime. I also played hookey and would watch 'People in Conflict' for the spicier side of things.

I see Buffalo Bob doing commercials on CNBC a couple of years back. Also, PBS ran a special on 'Howdy Doody' a while ago. Although I didn't care for the show, I enjoyed the retrospect on early TV.

Thanks for reviving the memories, PW.
