Ah the equatorial. Still have one...should dust it off. They told me their not supporting it anymore!

Was reliable but it only comes in at 9600 baud. In theory internet should be faster.

Signal online is fine when it's running. They have inevitable glitches and outages, although not real serious so far. But becuz u r dependent on ISP for feed it adds another level of complexity to the equation that u don't have with Sat. sys.

ISP drop offs, Inet Backbone problems etc. Probably Cable or DSL is the way to go?.

Guess i'm used to the sat systems that once u have them honed in they just seem to go on & on like the energizer bunny!
