To be honest I'll take a Positional trade off in a heartbeat if the short term data indicates as much.

If there is a short term dip that's okay, but if the data suggests a short term failure, as it did this week, then it would seem unwise to carry the positional trade. For example, I was Long positionally from the 1291 level.

The failure was down to that area.

Best to book profits and re-enter later.

Of course the posture is that one accepts the premise that the Short Term read is valid. If not then you are shooting fish in a barrel, just buying or selling based on a belief system that has no respect for intraday swings.
