well...ahhhhh... because Johnny said so...hahahahaha. Sorry, but I see humor in this statement, not as much as the chuckle I got out of dolby western quarters but humorous nonetheless.
Snipper, from the shareholders meeting and a few other assorted accounts made by the CEO of PABN, the Garden City office is profitable. This is a minor point imo, and not one worth scratching at as this one office cannot be generating that much income. And with RMC out of the picture, what other avenues are generating any positive cash flow for PABN? This one office might be generating a positive cash flow, but for some investors to jump up and down all excited exclaiming that the entire division is profitable because of one small office that only has a couple dozen stations, is a bunch of malarky and down right absurd. [One office does not a division make.]
Also, the question about being online. I might be wrong, but... I think that might only be in reference to "home" traders. I would assume that the clients who visit the offices could trade. Anybody? Have I concluded wrong about this? This is why I assume PABN is not spending the money to get themselves licensed in additional states. They're not necessarily looking to open up offices in every city around, only the ones they think might be the most profitable, and beyond that, supplement themselves with traders who prefer to work out of their homes. |
