Just remember, it is more of a confirming indicator than a leading indicator. Most of the time the SPOO has moved prior to the TICK moving. But if the TICK crosses the 50, it generally continues the trend so if you are already in long or short, either exit on that move or stick with the trade depending upon whether the cross is in your favor or not. The cross has to be by a bit as well, not just the 50 as you can see by watching it or the numbers I posted earlier. They were not the level of the 50, but were above or below it showing a true cross that might be sustained.

Watch for a while, you will get a feel and it might help you out down the road.
