Hi Bernie,
A "Group Account" is used to combine many different accounts into one. For example, if you were responsible for trading yours, your wife's, all your kids, and some close friends accounts, it would be very cumbersome to specify each and every individual account number when you place your trades. ProFunds recognizes this and, like Rydex, offers to combine all accounts into one. That "Group Account" is assigned a "Group Number".
Now, you use it this way: Assuming you have trading authority over all accounts and you have a "Group Account", when you place trades, you just specify the "Group Number", rather than each individual account number. By specifying percentages, each individual account in that "Group" is charged with the same percentage when consummating the trade.
Hope that helps :-)
