Val,please except my apology. Several of your poster friends did this to me and I honestly thought that you did the same. Think they were just trying to get my attention, with the PM, so that I wouldn't miss their post on the thread. Again, sorry and it WAS inept of me to not take the time to go back and look for it.
Val, you have not been saying very nice things about the investors that have done their 'dd' and put their OWN money on the line. Do you believe that this 'selling-short tool' is helping new small companies, in the US, to develop and grow. They do give us the technologies that you and I enjoy every day. It sort of looks like you folks want these companies to fail, for your personal gain. I'm sure that your 'prime-objective' is to increase your wealth, like we all want to do. Step back and really look at what you might help to destroy, before it can get off the ground.
Val, on your next investment, try this. Pick a company that looks promising and take the time to give it a visit. Look at their set-up and get a demo. of the product/products. This is what I did in Dec. 1997 at Data Race. You will catch the joy and excitement of being a small part of something potentiality great and new. This is what Peter Lynch, William J. O'neil and many others have done. HEY THEY DID OK!
Take a look at William O'Neil's chapter on 'short-selling' and the use of margin. Also try to listen to his tapes on new companies in America. He points out that this is where you will gain the most wealth. RISK, sure, so be careful. This is how he built his wealth leading up to starting one of our best working tools, THE IBD.
Val, don't get angry with me. I know the last thing you need is for me to tell you about these things. My message is more for the new investors that need helpful information and WHERE to find it. You and I can tell them that the best place is their local library. AND IT'S FREE!
TO ALL: ----if this post comes up two times, I will have to hang my head in shame, again. The first one did not show up, so had to do it ALL OVER AGAIN. {oh the time} [;o}} |
