Alex, No I don't agree with you. Not at all. I will refrain from attacking you, but I can only say what I told you before. I believe you took out short position, it went bad, and then you got frustrated.

Since I came to this thread and talk negatively about SUNW, I believe it is a fair question for the longs to ask if I was short SUNW and I believe they are entitled to an answer. Under your narrow definition I could have said no. But I believe that would be deceptive so I told them the truth. I do have a short position. That is all the longs need to know. I don't pry into anyones long positions and I wouldn't care if they had a leveraged long positions or not.

But if asked nicely I freely elaborated. Such was the case with my conversation with Mike. Message 6554698

I showed you on the M. Burke thread where I used terms interchangably. If you take $50,000 and short a stock vs taking the $40,000 and buying PUTS. Both are short postions, the $50,000 PUTS is a leveraged short position and is much more aggressive.

I don't know you. I conversed with you only a few times in the months I've been on this thread. So how am I suppose to know what is in your mind. Most of the time I find it hostile and I post only as a reply.

But anyway lets agree to disagree. Because we really don't agree, but I wish you well whether you are short, long, short against the box or anything else. I believe everything I said about SUNW and I invest accordingly. What others do is there own business. And yes I am short SUNW. It's called a leveraged short position.
