There is no ratio. One day there could be more sells to the market makers, than Purchases from. Another day there could be more purchases from the market makers than sells. Still another day could be 100% sells to the market maker. Or even 100% buys from the Market maker. You can't cut the volume in half every day and be correct. All you can do is get a copy of the trading logs (one that lists if they were upticks or downticks) And go from there.
