I can understand that. I used to trade only OEX Options.

I went the other way because of extreme premium stripping during fast markets.

You have to do what you are comfortable with. Me, I'll sell or buy the spoo yet if I were looking at a similar Option the Volatility may make it overpriced so for me it's another factor I have to throw into the mix.

More than once the antics got me. I had a Option from 8 once and sudden action brought it within 10 minutes to 29. I immediately Sold it at Market and got 11. 2 minutes later it was 16.

A couple of those, the OEX split, and I walked away. For me it was more trouble than it was worth. Trading the spoo I make just one, two trades a day usually and quit. No muss, no fuss, no bother. That's me, though. The less complex the better.
