Val - there's a lot more to all this "VoIP" than people think.
VoIP can mean about anything involving "Voice over IP"
I believe you're thinking about "VoN" which is VoIP but over the net.

Yes - they've been working on that for a long time and I'm pretty sure they've got some already out there but it can only be called beta until they announce it as an available product. My original thoughts were that it would be included as an adjunct to a BT user to further save on the corporate phone bill when security and voice quality were no problem but ever since then I've been poking around and it seems that the company's efforts in talking to some major ISPs are evident.

Don't know about you but I'd love to get and make my calls while I'm online.
This would also make the ISP a gateway as an LDEC - imagine that.

Why don't you poke around a bit?
