Val - there's a lot more to all this "VoIP" than people think.
VoIP can mean about anything involving "Voice over IP"
I believe you're thinking about "VoN" which is VoIP but over the net.

True VoIP means Voice over IP. VoN (Voice over Internet) means Voice over Internet. VoIP can be used to carry voice over the internet or over any other network. As RACE doesn't follow conventions devised by VoIP it's a dead issue.
They have Voice over telephone line. Also if any one buys a good net phone they can run VoIP over RACE's BeThere. Unfortunately that makes Bethere redundant. Quite funny really!

Don't know about you but I'd love to get and make my calls while I'm online. This would also make the ISP a gateway as an LDEC - imagine that.
Well I got a second line. If I need a third I will get it. But I'm more likely to get a cell phone and drop the second line.

Why don't you poke around a bit?
I have the SEC filings are the best place. The one place where there is some pressure on the company to be truthful.
