Your patent lawsuit link does not work. Although RACE filed the lawsuit, it may not be able to carry it to a conclusion, and even if it does, there are no guarantees it will win. If it loses, there goes the patent protection. We are Currently Involved in A Patent Infringement Lawsuit On August 19, 1998, we sued Lucent Technologies, Inc. in United States District Court in San Antonio, Texas. Our failure to prevail in a significant manner in this lawsuit may materially adversely affect our financial condition and operations. However, litigation by its very nature is unpredictable and we may not prevail. Our suit alleges that Lucent is infringing on our patent entitled "System and Method for Providing a Remote User with a Virtual Presence to an Office." Although we believe our claims against Lucent are valid and we intend to vigorously pursue such claims, we may not be able to fully pursue the lawsuit or defend against possible counterclaims because of limited resources, including our ability to pay legal expenses. In addition, the lawsuit could adversely affect the validity or enforceability of our patents.
