Hal, Wasn't there another brokerage that uses Timber Hill, same stuff as PMB basically and charges like $10 or something? I remember a discussion here about that a while back, I even bookmarked the site, but I have not gone to find it again yet. But that will be the first thing I ask this guy. Why is this other company, using the same technology charging less? It is insane. I mean how hard can it be? You have certain fixed costs to the business side. I would think you could set reasonable fees for everyone. Base it on account size or number of trades, but don't keep it so hidden or secret for crying out loud. Just name your best prices and stop hosing me is all I ask. Heck, if I get back to him by Wed, does the commission go up? Insane. And why aren't you paying $17.50? The current customers ought to do better than someone new? It costs less to keep someone that to find someone new. I don't get it. I really don't. -scott PS - back in a bit.
