AT&T is crazy, IMO. The amount of money they would have to spend to upgrade both TCI and MediaOne's cablesystems at the same would be incredibly dilutive to earnings for several years<i/> out. And what does cable give you? Residential customers. In contrast, WorldCom/UUNET is perfectly positioned to pick off the high-margin corporate customers and corporate intranets, and they would do well to leave the $19.95 unlimited use customers to AT&T.
