Hi? I'm Canadian. So correct me if I am wrong.... But.... I thought... The 1st amendment protected Americans freedom of speech about the Government From persecution by the government. Is that not correct? See.....I always thought you could say things like "Slick bonked Monica with a cigar because he is a limp..." and not have to worry about being sued However, saying things like "Sam Walton is being eaten by worms" could get your rear in court since Sam was a private citizen. is this not correct?
