Has anyone thought to ask why Craig McCaw is so eager to pawn off NXTL to any company he can when it could make such a "great fit" with his other company Nextlink? Nextlink aspires to be a junior WCOM. McCaw is doing a great job assembling long-haul fiber, local fiber, and FBBW assets. If NXTL was a prerequisite to establishing a viable telecom company going forward and/or was undervalued, don't you think he would want to hang on to it? McCaw has seen the future, and it ain't Nextel. Bernie should take a look across the table and think about why a guy as smart as Craig McCaw would do this. IMHO, as always. mmeggs
