My theory is the copyproof downloadable music theory. CDNW said they will have music that one can download from the web, but which format? Ibm/Sony's which the industry wants to be the standard or Microsoft's Audio 4? And then ofcourse there's MP3 which started all the trouble. CDNW, though it hasn't made money yet has 50% of music sales on the web. Who ever has it can leverage their format for downloadable music to 50% of music buyers. CDNW's stock is relatively cheap but their market reach is huge. It is important that whoever wants their downloadable format to be the standard, CDNW be obtained. CDNW is like what Midway Island was during WW2. Also radio stations have web site with links to CDNW. Ofcourse this is just my theory. We havn't heard anything about Microsoft and CDNW and Microsoft has their hands tied with the DOJ. So just take this theory with a grain of salt.
