It's amazing just how many references one can find using "telecommuting" in a keyword search, we could probably make it to post 20,000 in short order if we mentioned them all. Most of the ones I've read are either reports on studies or actual programs that firms have implemented. I guess now is the time to take them all one step further. One thing I haven't seen mentioned is that a home worker with only one line might feel a little isolated if he knew that his phone couldn't ring while he was connected to the corporate office. With Be There! they can order a pizza without missing a minute of work and feel safe that the school can get in touch if one of their children gets sick.
