Hey Marshall, I just finished talking to my broker about making sure that my RACE shares aren't being loaned out. He seemed a little mystified about the whole thing. Even though none of my shares are on margin, it was his opinion that the shares could still be loaned out be the brokerage firm, but said he would check further. He's been in the business over 20 years and he said I was the first client that had ever made this kind of a request. Can you tell me if it is necessary for a stock holder to take physical possession of the shares to prevent the brokerage from loaning them out? Surely not, and if not, what kind of proof do you have that your shares aren't being loaned out. After the last couple of days, I've developed a rather strong loathing for certain types of shorters (not RACE related). Thanx, bp
